Hallbrook Annual Meeting

This has been quite a year! The pandemic crisis has caused considerable disruption to our lives and the way we are able to live and work. It has touched us all, including our families, vendors, contractors, clients, and employees. Despite having to learn to deal with this new normal, we have been able to accomplish much of what is necessary to keep our Hallbrook community running smoothly and improving.

One significant change is that we will be doing the upcoming annual meeting as a virtual event. The virtual meeting will be on Tuesday, December 1st at 6:00 p.m. We will email out instructions closer to the meeting date. Please contact Claire Rainey at crainey@sentrymgt.com if we do not have your most recent email.

A heartfelt thanks to two of our long-term board members whose terms are expiring. Chi Chi Puhl and Tina Bender. Chi Chi has been instrumental in leading the community serving as past board president, as well as chairing the landscape committee for many years. Tina has served as treasurer, as well as chair of the security committee and serving on the landscape committee. The nominating committee has selected two great candidates to fill these board openings. Mary Larson and Linda Finkle. Due to the meeting being virtual, we will not be opening any nominations from the floor. We would also like to recognize Andy Beal, who was appointed by the board to fill Dave Estes unexpired term.

The annual meeting agenda, along with a summary of the financial statement is included in this mailing. The good news is the neighborhood is on track with this year’s budget and there will be no increase in dues for 2021. We are now increasing the funding to our reserves for future capital expenditures, due to aging fixed assets. We continue to update our aging landscaping and will finish replacing all 50 of the mailbox inserts in 2020.

We hope you will be able to attend the virtual meeting on December 1st to get further updates on the community.

Please join my meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
